Hairdressers reopen as Scotland’s coronavirus restrictions ease

A barber reopened at 6am on Monday to welcome back customers as further coronavirus restrictions were lifted in Scotland.
Hairdressers and barbers can reopen from Monday along with some non-essential shops, including garden centres and homeware stores, as lockdown measures are eased.
Tony Mann opened his barber shop in Giffnock, East Renfrewshire, at 6am to enable people to get their hair cut for the first time in months.
It will be a busy day for the four barbers working, with 96 customers booked in on April 5 when the shop is open until 8pm.
When he reopened in July last year after the first lockdown, Mr Mann opened at midnight and worked for 24 hours.
He decided not to do the same this time but is excited to be welcoming back customers to Tony Mann’s Barber Shop.
Mr Mann said: “It’s been four months since the last day we cut hair so the feeling today is slight anxiety and slight worry, like ‘is everything going to go to plan’, but I’m also feeling really excited and happy because my shop is open again.

  • It's bs. Here's a copy and paste from London Datastore, updated end march 2021. Death certs in England with cv mention are not worth printing they're so low: (The link gets deleted) Weekly Key Points An additional 24 deaths in London hospitals of patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 and an additional 16 where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate were announced in the week ending 31 March 2021. This compares with 62 and 25 for the previous week. A total of 256 deaths in hospitals of patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 and 84 where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate were announced for England as whole. This compares with 468 and 150 for the previous week. The total number of COVID-19 deaths reported in London hospitals of patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 is now 14,773. The total number of deaths in London hospitals where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate is now 1,094. This compares to figures of 86,308 and 5,350 for English hospitals as a whole. Due to the delay between death occurrence and reporting, the estimated number of deaths to this point will be revised upwards over coming days These figures do not include deaths that occurred outside of hospitals. Data from ONS has indicated that the majority (78%) of COVID-19 deaths in London have taken place in hospitals.

    • You do realise the cause of death is not the actual virus....but conditions caused BY the virus....pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, blood clots in heart, blood clots in liver & kidneys, sepsis etc. When you have the virus, the body has a widespread reaction that effectively causes widescale organ failure. Just as HIV may cause certain syndromes to develop (AIDS) , HIV never on a death certificate as people die from the accumulated syndromes - pneumonia, karposi sarcoma etc..... Look up the post mortem reports for covid patients in pubmed for a deeper understanding before getting into full conspiracy mode .

  • The death rate still under 1% always has been roughly same as the flu so ask yourself what's really going on why are the government acting like it's 50% while taken away our rights one by one while giving themselves emergency powers catch the virus and you are healthy you have an 99.9% chance of survival wake up people
